SVP Health Care are currently recruiting for a Residential Care Home Manager to oversee both of our homes in North Shields and Earsdon. We are looking for a self-motivated / dynamic/ entrepreneurial person with the drive and ambition to run our successful care homes. The ideal candidate would need to be able to show competences of working within this sector

The duties-

*CQC – Ensure we are compliant with all 16 essential standards related to the quality and safety of care

*Assessments – assessing the needs of new clients

*Building up relationships with relatives and local authorities such as social workers

*Social Services inspection
*Manage the service and attract new business
*Manage the quality of care to service users
*Ensure that all resources are managed accordingly to the Homes budgets
*Delegate responsibilities when needed
*Recruit, and appoint new staff
*Manage the annual performance if the service including staff reviews and monitoring
*Work with senior care workers to provide a high level of care
*Responsibility for all aspects of care in the service
*Monitor care standards
*Monitor the care team performance
*Liaise with families and other bodies in regards to complaints
*Lead meetings with residents, staff and relatives
*Manage reviews of residents
*Ensure that there is appropriate training and development in place
*Care planning
*Inform the management team of any important and key information

*Ensure all documentation is kept updated
*Ensure the appropriate level of care at the service
